Princeton Mobile Book Center Business Talk July 2022
Tricia Roddy, Director of Communications at Princeton City Schools, and Co-Founder of the Princeton Mobile Book Center, joined us to explain the importance of gaining knowledge year round. Children in the area have an eagerness to learn even during the summer months away from school.
The Princeton Mobile Book Center started as a bus that was donated by First Student, Inc. in 2016, in honor of Dr. Thomas S. Woods-Tucker's 2016 National Superintendent of the Year Award. With $100,000 grant funding from the Scripps Howard Foundation, WCPO 9 On Your Side, Greater Cincinnati Foundation, and Duke Energy Foundation, Princeton has transformed the bus into a bookmobile with technology to provide outreach opportunities to our community, students, and families. No taxpayer funding is used for this community project.
