Northern Cincinnati Safety Council
The BWC's Division of Safety & Hygiene sponsors safety councils, across the state, and our Chamber's Northern Cincinnati Safety Council is proud to be a part of the program! Each Ohio safety council has the same goal - to increase safety awareness. But developing and maintaining a safe workplace is no easy task. That is why it must be a combined effort of local businesses and the community.
We strive to offer safety education to our region. Over the years, our programs have addressed a wide variety of issues: occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation and risk management education, mental heath, safe driving, lock out/tag out, workplace violence, medical marijuana, ergonomics, first aid and CPR, cost containment, accident analysis, FMLA, transitional work, ergonomics, and more.
For the upcoming BWC program year, July of 2022 through June of 2023, BWC Safety Councils will meet in person and the 2% rebate will be available to eligible Safety Council Members.
We will meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month, from 3 to 4pm. We will be hosted by the Sharonville Fire Department at their Headquarters on Chester Rd., just north of Kemper Rd.
Our Safety Council will offer 14 sessions this program year, beginning in July 2022 and concluding in June 2023.
All types of businesses are encouraged to join us! Participants do not need to be members of the Northern Cincinnati Chamber, nor do they need to have a business located in Sharonville. All are welcome!
