Northern Cincinnati Safety Council
The BWC's Division of Safety & Hygiene sponsors safety councils, across the state, and our Chamber's Northern Cincinnati Safety Council is proud to be a part of this program! Each Ohio safety council has the same goals - to increase safety awareness and provide training. Developing and maintaining a safe workplace is no easy task. That is why it must be a combined effort of local businesses and the community.
We strive to offer up to date and relevant safety education to our region. Over the years, our programs have addressed a wide variety of issues: occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation and risk management education, mental heath, safe driving, lock out/tag out, workplace violence, medical marijuana, ergonomics, first aid and CPR, cost containment, accident analysis, FMLA, transitional work, ergonomics, and more.
For the current BWC program year, July of 2023 through June of 2024, BWC Safety Councils will continue to meet in person and the rebate for eligible Safety Council Members has been increased to 3%!
We meet year round on the 4th Tuesday of each month, from 3 to 4pm. We are fortunate to be hosted by the City of Sharonville and the Sharonville Fire Deprtment on Chester Rd., just north of Kemper Rd.
Our Safety Council offers 14 sessions this program year, beginning in July 2023 and concluding in June 2024, including an extended session for CPR and First Aid certification on April 30, 2024, and a half-day Safety Forum on March 7, 2024,. We make it easy to earn your rebate!
The Northern Cincinnasti Safety Council was created in July 2014 to provide education and training to area buseinsses. All types of industries and businesses are encouraged to join us! Participants are not required to be members of the Northern Cincinnati Chamber. The goal is to keep our regional workers safe! All are welcome!
